  • BEWARE: NO ALASKAN KING CRAB LEGS In checking out the reviews for the Wynn Buffet it seems the thing the people liked most were the Alaskan King Crab Legs. I had a group of people visiting from out of town and they told me the thing they can't get where they live is great Alaskan King Crab Legs. I do business with these people and wanted to impress them with a first class joint in Vegas so I decided to take them to the Wynn buffet. Wow what a disappointing experience we had. . Can you believe the Wynn buffet doesn't serve Alaskan King Crab Legs. Apparently they have really been cutting back on the quality there. A nice couple eating next to us told us they served King Crab Legs up till a month or so ago but have been cutting back on the quality. Now they just serve snow crab. If I want unlimited snow crab I can hit any of the cheap buffets in Vegas. I expected a lot more from the Wynn. Another guy was complaining they quit serving the lamb chops he loved. I actually inquired with the manager about why they don't serve Alaskan King Crab Legs anymore. He complained the price of crab has skyrocketed which is surprising in this bad economy. I say if more than $40 per person won't cut it then raise the price but don't cut back. He said his customers don't know the difference between Snow and King. Maybe some people don't and they are happy but if you understand quality crab there is really no comparison. Customers being to dumb to know is a bad attitude and just doesn't cut it for a place that is supposed to be high end like the Wynn. My guests and I won't go back.
