  • I'm really surprised to see negative reviews, because I had an excellant experience there. (It does seem suspricious that two people reviewed them withi 10 days of one another, and they both described the selection as "dismal"...seems like someone who had a bad experience may be going out of their way to give bad press.) I haven't purchased new glasses in 7 years. I usually wear contacts, and only wear my glasses at home. Since I had a pair of Chanel frames that I just loved, I never was really in a rush to get new glasses. When the frames snapped after an especially thrashy evening of sleeping, I made an appointment at Eyetique. Their comapign with local celebs and people about town really caught my eye. I know several people who have been featured in their ads, and I love the advertising approach. My appointment was quick and easy. My perscription had changed and my eyes were healthy. When ordering my contacts, they informed me that they will match 1800 contacts price, and ship my contacts for free. Perfect! Contacts? Check. Next came the glasses. I was really nervous about finding glasses that I liked. The gentleman there (I can't find his card now...but he was great! I think the assistant manager? Maybe the manager?) went "shopping" for me after asking me some of the things I was looking for. He brought back probably 15 pairs of glasses. I tried them all on, and put them into the "reject" or "maybe" piles. When he saw what I was liking, he went "shopping" again, and we repeated this about 3-4 times. I had it narrowed down to 3 pairs that I LOVED. He helped me narrow it down again to two by giving me some solid arguements for all three pairs. It was a very personal experience. He was so helpful and kind. He never rushed me and really took into consideration what I was looking for. I ended up with two very different frames and I love them both. I will certainly go back there. While I ended up spending more than I origianally planned, I got two pairs of glasses, when I only wanted one, and had a great shopping experience. I was happy with the selection there. Very fashionable and on trend. Lots of bold and edgy frames to choose from and a great staff who is ready to help. I cannot recommend them enough. Keep up the great work, guys!
