  • Its pretty simple- get your tires here. For about a decade I had always gotten my tires at Costco as they were pretty cheap. Then their prices seemed to jump a bit and I discovered the gem that is Discount Tire. Here are the reasons they are the best 1. Prices- no reputable store beats their prices, and its not even really close 2. Service- here are things they do for free -check tire pressure/fill tires -repair tire punctures or REPLACE the tire if it is not repairable -move tires from front to back or vice versa when getting new tires -They advised me to put new tires on the back and told me if I didn't like it after a few thousand miles they would switch them. That is quite a little list of services. I have even had tires patched there that did not come from Discount Tire- no charge. Their customer service is just mind blowing and has earned a customer for life from me 3. Speed. The last few times I have been there they have been busy and told me it would take around an hour, but every time they get it done much faster- the cars fly in and out of the garage. 4. No pushy sales pitches- At another tire place I had to go through a 10 mn convo about which tire was best/why I should upgrade. At Discount Tire I told them I wanted a middle of the road cheap tire, they gave me some options, I picked one and we were done. Total conversation time approx 30 seconds. 5. They know what they are doing- The store where I got my front tires couldn't tell me what year I got them in despite looking at the tire and my customer records, Discount Tire told me there was part of the serial number that told me the year. He knew that off the top of his head.
