  • *Edited to add The beauty of Yelp is that a person gets to post about their experience at an establishment. I did not have a positive outcome at this place, which left me feeling upset, but I'm glad others have had positive experiences here and I hope that others that go here will have a positive experience as well. With that being said, I was not saying mean and hateful things about this business and I certainly wasn't posting false (or illegal) pictures. I simply posted a picture of my eyebrows when I got in my car after getting them threaded here last week. I've worked hard to grow/maintain a thicker brow over the years, and while I've had my fair share of threading or waxing done so that I can keep them shaped up, I've never had this much hair taken off at one time (I am specifically talking about my one eyebrow). It made me feel like all those years went to waste as my eyebrow was the thinnest it's been in years. I'm not sure why the owner felt the need to say they know my picture was false or that I'm defaming my character by not posting a before picture without makeup on (what does that even mean, that I've defamed my character if there's no makeup free before picture posted?!). Either way, as the reader, I just wanted to share my own experience and how I felt afterward!* I feel devastated. I've been growing my eyebrows out for many years now after over plucking them several years ago. I even haven't touched them in 9 months to help them grow more. So when I bought a Groupon here, my hopes were they could help me shape them up a bit as I continued to let them grow. I told the lady I wanted to keep my eyebrows thicker and to just clean it up a bit. I'm not sure what happened, but the end results were so bad!! My eyebrows are not only uneven, but one of them was completely over threaded, so it's way too thin! I feel like all my work over the years to let them grow went to waste in less than 5 minutes. My only consolation was the Groupon didn't cost me too much, and I recently got bangs, so at least I can hide behind those for the time being, ha! My eyebrows may not be the easiest to deal with, but I've never had them look this uneven or different from what I asked for. I definitely will not be back!
