| - Lavo is absolutely fantastic for happy hour or dinner. They lounge and dining area are gorgeous, service is perfect, and the food and drinks are relatively decently priced for Vegas and absolutely delicious. The club on the other hand, it's ok. We were there on a Sunday, which is still a good party night in Vegas (every night is, basically). The club opens around 11pm, pretty standard, and at 11 the line was already out the door of the Palazzo. We had VIP admission and line passes, so it was pretty sweet to skip the line and not have to pay admission. The club was awesome earlier on in the night when it wasn't too crowded. Issues: they let way too many people in so that the club was overcrowded and even the walkways/hallways were packed; the tables are below knee level, and not blocked off by anything (other than ropes), so when it gets crowded it's way too easy to be knocked over one; bartenders are rude and inconsiderate. A member of our party started having trouble breathing (probably related to the strong smell of vomit coming from the mens bathroom next to one of the bars), and the bartender (girl) wouldn't give her a glass of water--just completely ignored her. Our friend was hyperventilating pretty obviously. So we had to grab one of the crowd control guys to help us, and escort us out because the crowd was too thick to get through. Last issue: the DJ was horrible. He played random music that wasn't good to dance to, and changed the song every minute as if it was a power-hour mix. People were literally standing around confused at various points in time.
