  • I have been a patient of Page Family Practice for over a decade. Over this time I have met with nearly every doctor that has come through this practice. Over the past year this practice has gone severely downhill. They have tried numerous times to double and triple bill me. I brought in explanation of benefits and receipts and prove that I have already paid. I sincerely hope this isn't happening to every patient but maybe it is. Maybe that's how they are payed for their remodel. During this time I have taken the same medications with little change in dosage to treat a severe cardiovascular neurological disorder. After breaking my arm and visiting an emergency room to get a splint before seeing the orthopedist I went to visit with my PCP Dr. Curtis Page. Since I was under a pain contract and have been since the first day I visited this office I didn't want to violate that by being treated in the er or getting more meds. Upon meeting with curtis and getting results from my urine I was accused of taking a medication not prescribed to me. At which point I pulled the medication from my bag from 2015 to show them it (written by their office) They then notified me that Oh, I guess they overlooked it in their system. Typically I would see them ever 2-3 months for prescription refills but he requested I come back in 2 weeks and only wrote me for 1/6 of what I normally took. As I left the office I was informed they wouldn't schedule me because they claimed again that I had an unpaid balance. To which I showed them my receipt on their own damned health information exchange site stating my insurance had paid at the agreed amount as negotiated with their insurance contract. They were trying to get more than what was owed once again. The office manager than said she would look into it and call me back promptly. She never did. A day after this visit I went to Mayo Clinic because the splint I was in was causing me pain and my arm was killing me. The made a new splint and sent me on my way. When I went to Costco and had my prescription filled an additional one was their that I didn't realize so I kept the full bottle to bring to my appointment with Dr. Page because I didn't want to violate his pain contract. I called back since it was nearing two weeks and was informed they sent a letter dropping me as a patient. I called the office manager who never called me back to set the appointment and inform what happened and she notified me that she fixed the billing issue but that Dr. Page refused to see me. I am now partially disabled and trying to find a new doctor during the busiest time of year. I have almost no medication left and the doctor who took an oath to do no harm threw me in the gutter. You can find a better doctor and practice to trust with your health.
