My family has a Marriott time share so I have stayed at many of their vacation villas over the years. This is one of the nicest ones I have stayed at yet. We were here the last weekend of October and the resort was mostly empty and crowds at the pool were far from being a problem.
Our family had a two bedroom which was plenty of space for the four of us. This villa included all the Marriott Vacation Club standards--two bed rooms, two bathrooms, equipped kitchen, living/dining areas, patios, 3 tvs, W/D, etc. Our unit was spotless and finishings were much nicer than some of the other villas we had stayed in.
This resort is a quick walk or drive away from the JW Marriott which has 4 upscale restaurants and we had use of their pool and fitness areas as well. I thought the JW had one of the nicest pool areas I have ever seen at a Marriott and it was very peaceful and quiet.
Only two minor complaints which took away a star (wish I could have just taken away a half star). The smoke detectors in the bedrooms continuously flash fairly bright LED lights all night which can be rather distracting while trying to fall asleep. Also, if you are a light sleeper I would try to get a top floor unit as you can hear those above you at times if they have a heavy step.
