rev:text	Just prior to my trip, I called to confirm my room and to tell them that my husband and I would be a late check-in. The employee at the desk, who spoke English just fine by the way, responded that I wanted to cancel my room. No... Thankfully, our room was not canceled and we were able to check in upon arrival. The room was made of cheap materials but was spacious, included a full kitchen, and was in good condition. I did notice that the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, although the rooms there were non-smoking. The hotel building was located in a safe and conveniently located neighborhood. We could walk by foot to our destinations or ride the Metro within minutes. We enjoyed the availability and taste of the included breakfast in the mornings, although I was a little disappointed to see sausage always rather than bacon rotated in. Upon check out, we were charged for parking for a car, although we did not have a car with us at all. The front desk refunded the parking charge to my credit card, but the time it took to get the refund prevented my husband from eating his breakfast before our taxi showed up. If I were to visit Montreal again, I would consider staying in this hotel. The quality was not great but was a good value for the price.
