  • We just bought a fire pit for the house and was looking for firewood. We happened to stumble upon Allied Charcoal & Wood and decided to check it out. When we got here, we were greeted by a nice lady who walked us out to the show us the wood. We told her that we were looking for about 1/8 or 1/4 cord of wood that had minimal smoke/ash. They had a pallets of "ugly" Orange Wood and Pine Wood that were going for much cheaper than the pre set amounts. So we ended up picking out a little more than 1/8 cord of Orange Wood for $40. They seem to have a good selection of different woods and they seem to be fairly knowledgeable. They also accept credit card which is a huge plus, seeing that that the other business I tried to go to only took cash. I will be back again soon!
