This is now the cheapest big hotel to stay at on the Strip. It is also the oldest and one of the most run-down.
To be fair, it is only run-down in comparison with the other Strip Hotels like the Bellagio and Venetian, but the prices reflect this
It is situated at the very tip of the north end of the Strip. After this you have a rapid descent into seedy sex-shops, cheap gift shops and tacky wedding Chapels.
The rooms vary in quality and decor quiet a lot, but are all bearable for the price.
The buffet and food areas are OK.
The poker room is full of sharp locals who are looking for pidgeons to pluck! So if you are a beginner try the MGM instead as it has a far higher percentage of novice players.
