  • I always love walking by Suarez to see the creative cakes and baked goods they have on display. I decided to splurge on some hand-iced sugar cookies this weekend and they were phenomenal. Sugar cookies with Royal icing are difficult to perfect. Either the cookie is too mushy or the icing is too hard, or some other variation of those things. But Suarez gets it. Their sugar cookies are crunchy but not so much that you run the risk of needing dental work afterward. Also, the craftsmanship is amazing. Yes, $8 (including tax) for three cookies was expensive but it was a nice little early Halloween treat. And I don't mind paying more for a quality product.
