Okay--let me start by saying I did lease a car from here after my ordeal. So at the end of the day, the experience wasn't terrible enough to scare me away. I love my new car!
My experience with ECN wasn't positive when I first visited. I spent 2.5 hours there, found a car, went through all the paper work--purchased car insurance on it!--just to have them come back with a completely different price. After all of that I went home without a car, frustrated and cursing the Nissan name.
The next day three different employees contacted me asking me to come back--they would meet my original price. I agreed, and when I first arrived they again tried to switch it. At this point, I may have lost my temper and I basically said I was leaving and would never give them my business. They came back with the agreed upon price...long story short, I ended up leaving with a car. I love it. My experience though was stressful and drawn out.
I really did enjoy working with Danny, a manager, and the finance team--they were friendly and helpful once we got past the mess of everything else.
If you go here I recommend standing your ground, knowing what you want and not letting them bait and switch you.
