What happened to the budget plan that updated yearly?!?! My bill used to be configured to have 1 payment amount and it was adjusted annually. NOW every 3 months my bill changes. I called the budget plan is now quarterly. My bill can range from $30-40 more in summer than winter. To someone on disability who is on a tight monthly budget. That 30-40 can mean no food or medications. They need to go back to the annual budget - the quarterly stinks! I also wish they would notify you if they see drastic spike in use out of the norm for your property. I had 2 heat strips stuck on in May which I did not know but A/C was blowing lukewarm air. Called A/C people to look at it and they found this out. He said my electricity probably was real high. I didn't know as hadn't been billed yet. So I looked and sure enough for 3 days there were spikes on my graph that almost tripled the norm. Howard Air is who I trust as they allowed me til Oct-Nov to save for new relay. I don't think it is fair to have only one power company to chose as I feel they charge more when not having to be competitive.
