Review #20 of Yelp's 30 Day Challenge 2012
We're well more than a few months in to Gravity being the new kid in Inglewood. I've watched it come along from only really being cool because it was new and open late and serving wine to solidly rocking attempts to try new things in the space (like curry Fridays!)
Gravity continues to be a great spot to meet friends... whether on or many. It's got a few different sizes of tables for you to choose from (though if you're in need of a plugin, stick to the area to the left of the door as you walk in).
I had stopped going nearly as often this fall because of some spotty internet. And when your main reason for hanging out in coffee shops is to drink good coffee and get some work done because your job kind of depends on a reliable connection, well, that's kind of a big deal. I had been back for fondue and wine and the likes, but not to work. One of my coffee shop working friends commented about having been to Gravity recently and had no troubles with the connection, so, today, I gave it another go. Guess what? No troubles. And I think it's faster!
Whatever happened to make the internet better, plus the Japanese beer I had and the little cheesecake in a jar overflowing with delicious berry topping, not to mention staff that bring it out to me instead of making me wait by the counter until it's ready officially bump Gravity up to a five star experience for this Yelper. Yay!
The chairs are still noisy when you move 'em, but whatevs!
