| - I'm surprised I haven't reviewed Windsor yet! I love this neat little gastropub in Phoenix. They serve delicious food, whether you're craving comfort food or you're a health nut, there is something on the menu for you. I think they're house burger with garlic aioli is awesome and I like that most items come with a side dish.. and we're talking not your typical sides like fries. Think mac and cheese, fried okra, fried pickles, lentil soup etc. Even their side salads are memorable! On a recent visit we had the the ceviche, lobster roll (available weekends only) and ordered a side of Mac and cheese. The seafood was surprisingly fresh ( you never know, we do live in a desert!) and the proportions were good. The Lobster roll was more of a seafood roll as it had crab ad shrimp in it. It was cold creamy and tasty but sadly the lobster itself was a little dry. Probably won't order it again. They charged us for the Mac and never brought it out but once we told them about it, not only did they take it off the bill but they packed some extra mac and cheese to go for us. Amazing service! You walk in to the restaurant and expect them to be a little pretentious lol but the servers are generally pretty friendly even if they always aren't the most attentive. Also, they are located right next to Churn... super tempting which is probably they don't have much of a dessert menu haha. Overall a great place with great food for locals or to impress out of town guests. I've done both!
Oh also, we are loving the new parking lot, no more residential street parking!
