  • Let's start off with the things that I like about this place. All the employees are super laid back, nice and happy to help. They do carry some of the rarer games out there like rule of rose or collector editions, and they do have a decent retro game stock. Now what I like most about these guys is that when the Canadian prices for games were being increased recently by the bigger stores out there like eb and best buy, due to the weakened Canadian dollar, it was these guys at game mania who refused to increase their prices and kept their price at msrp. However, the store is a bit on the small side for me and you will get a lot of a younger crowd coming in to play games, especially around 3pm when school is out. And because you do get a lot of kids in, you might have to end up in line for longer than you'd like, like I did. I wouldn't recommend coming in when you're in a rush either since the process of looking up trade values and testing consoles seems unorganized and laborious. The new release stock these guys get in is pretty limited in quantity too. A new console, such as the slim ps vita or the Mario kart wii u bundle will only receive about two or three in stock for release day. So unless you're one of the first ones it put a hold on it, you probably won't be able to just walk in and get what you need. I haven't necessarily had a bad experience with these guys, and they definitely seem nice enough, but I just don't like how disorganized and understocked they are.
