| - I took my puppy (almost 5 month old) here for her first grooming because of how clean they are, how much I have always loved their front desk staff, and because of how much I love the products (both toys and treats) that I have bought here. When I booked I let the lady know that A) she has not had her rabies vaccine because of being hospitalized and almost dying twice with her last two sets of vaccinations. I told her about how our vet has written a letter and even told the state her recommendation about not giving our puppy her rabies before she is a year old. (the only other vaccine she needs) they said that would be fine as long as I provide them the letter as well, which I did. I let them know that she has never been groomed and that I just shower with her now and blow dry her and comb her with all products that I HAD BOUGHT FROM THEM BASED ON THEIR OWN RECOMMENDATIONS! They assured me she would be fine, that they have other puppies come to them for their first grooming and that I could bring her in and they booked me for the following Saturday morning. Fast forward to this morning: I drop her off and two and a half hours later I check in on her after having breakfast next door. I walk in to find her tied up in the back and on the floor with the other groomers around her pulling her from smelling another dog, she was clearly not being groomed and it was clear to me that something was wrong. The cashier comes to the front and convienantly says "Oh we were just about to call you! Holly had a little accident, she was being blow dried and had a explosion of poop all over the walls and began dancing in it which created it going everywhere, even on our ceilings. We now have to have all the groomers stop what they are doing to attempt to clean it up so let me go get your groomer to come talk to you." At this point I am very confused and worried as she has been completely fine since her last hospitalization over a month and a half ago and when I saw her as I walked in she did not look as if she had a mess everywhere. When the groomer came out she was visibly upset and showed me that clearly. She stated how much of a inconvenience it was for her to now completely rebathe my dog when she was all done with everything else. I then asked her if she had clipped her nails, her hair around her eyes and both of course were a stern "No!" which I had specifically asked her to do that morning. When I told her to just bring me my dog she first told me no and said she was far to dirty for me to put in my car. First off, don't tell me what to do with my dog, especially if she is sick. Then I told her again, just bring me my dog now please. I was very upset at this point and when I saw my dog completely clean and couldn't see any poop on her at all then I was irate. I told them there was no way I would pay for the full grooming (which by the way I had been quoted $55 when I booked it) and that I couldn't believe how they were dealing with this. I would have come back because I understand things happen and I loved the store, until the next part happened. The groomer proceeds to come out and explain to me how much of a problem it was that I brought my puppy on their busiest day, a Saturday, when she has never been groomed before and that I should have done a mobile grooming service. YOUR OPEN SATURDAYS, YOUR A GROOMING PLACE, I TOLD YOUR STAFF THAT SHE HAD NEVER BEEN GROOMED BEFORE, just because YOU CANT DEAL WITH DOG POOP DONT TRY AND SAY I WAS THE INCONVENIENCE IN YOUR DAY! Then, a gentleman in the store bent down to pet my dog and the groomer decided she would tell this gentleman that "Don't touch that puppy, she's sick!" EXCUSE ME?! MY DOG ISNT SICK!! SHE WAS ANXIOUS, YOU WERE PROBABLY BEING ROUGH WITH HER AND MEAN LIKE YOU ARE BEING NOW SO SHE POOPED OUT OF FEAR! At that point I wanted to pay and get OUT. Then they told me they would only charge me for a "luxury bath" which I thought was great, until the total was $50 WHICH IS WHAT I WAS QUOTED FOR THE FULL GROOMING ANYWAYS! Never ever will I go back and I made sure I told several people who had asked me how it went with Holly being groomed, how bad it went and not to go here. I was a very loyal customer spending money here monthly, today, they made sure I never spend another dollar in this store.
