I'm currently leasing a townhouse on a month to month lease while my new house is being built and the townhouse is being short sold. It makes for an interesting situation to say the least, the new owner wanted to have the property inspected and of course he wants it done yesterday. Fortunately we don't have to directly deal with the new owner just yet, we got to deal with the pleasant people at Apollo Inspections instead. Peri McCullock and a partner of hers visited us this morning and was a bit early in getting here. Once we let them in they went to work, and having had some experience with home inspectors in the past I watched them like a hawk. I was impressed as they went over the property from top to bottom and back again. They tested the electrical systems, tripped the GFCI's, answered questions about the Kitec plumbing lawsuits springing up all over Vegas, found a few things we didn't even realize were issues and was totally professional and courteous from start to finish. I did surprise them by letting them know about a lawsuit filed against the builder of the townhomes I'm in that would sully the builder's reputation but that's another story and review for another time....
While they were inside I told them about my fear of heights and they noticed my air filters needed to be changed. While up on the ladder by the attic access they quickly changed out my filters with the new ones I had on hand, and declined my offer to slip them a fast $20 for their trouble!
Attention to detail. Service with a smile. And with 10 years of experience doing inspections and a deeper real estate knowledge beyond that...Peri is worth a look and a phone call if you need a home inspection done. 4 Strong Stars.
