  • I wish I could give zero. My mother in law got me a living social to get my house cleaned as i am 7 months pregnant with twins and wanted a good cleaning because it's very hard for me to do it now. I did the online request and they texted me to get my living social info. First they said they were looking it up...never heard back. I waited over 24 hours and texted back asking if they found it and they said it was expired. It's not I was saving it til as close to the end of my pregnancy to use and the expire date is Aug 16 so this week was perfect. Then they said "oh we have two under that name one is expired" clearly I'm using the one that's not so I sent them the number. They said ok we have you on for tues Aug 8th with a 130 to 330 window. So, I am in the middle of looking for a new location for the business i own, rushed home to make sure i was here by 130, and blocked off my afternoon so i couldn't take any appointments (which means I make zero dollars). It's now FOUR THIRTY. And they never showed up in their 130-330pm window. I run my own small business and if I ran it like this, I wouldn't HAVE A BUSINESS TO RUN! Is it because I had a living social I get treated like shit? Because I use Groupon and I treat them like gold because that's an opportunity to have a life long client who sends tons of referrals and guess what--all my Groupon clients have become regulars AND referred me more clients. I'm going to bust my pregnant ass now that it's almost 5pm cleaning my house because I spent my afternoon getting it prepped and ready. And next week I'll be searching for a new house cleaning service because I was planning on finding one to use weekly and this was going to be like a try out for this company and they failed. Seriously, you had one job. UPDATE-- just as I was finishing writing this my phone rang and it's them saying they will be here in a half hour around 5:15. That's cool right when my husband gets home from work and we would want to be cooking and eating dinner. I picked the earlier afternoon time frame to avoid that. So ok they are actually showing up but an hour and a half late. If I ran that late my clients would walk out on me! I don't even care if they do a phenomenal job, they fucked my whole day. If I knew it would be this late I could have worked til 4 and made a few hundred bucks today. Thanks guys.
