Belgians (including myself) tend to be very chauvinistic, yet critical, about their food. When it comes to Belgian late night/after bar treats, double-fried horse and beef fat fries and the soon-to-be world famous 'bicky burger' are classics not to be missed. When it comes to curing severe beer-related hangovers in the morning, a Belgian waffle will always do the job.
Unfortunately, none of these Belgian culinary icons are served as they should be at Goed Eten. Dear over-served bar-hopping Ossington hipsters: don't be delusional and fulfill your hunger somewhere else. My advice to Goed Eten's owners: improve, close down or change the misleading name.
One star, because zero is not an option. If you think I'm cruel here, I didn't even bring up the terrible service mentioned by others.
