  • Let me preface this by saying that when any Chipotle gets busy it can be understandably hectic. In this case: it was not busy at all. The kitchen was hectic. People yelling and lots of food needing to be refilled on the line. It was uncomfortably hot in the restaurant. Very hot! My husband mentioned that he hopes the food was kept at the correct temperature despite the heat. I didn't think twice because we have never gotten sick or had a bad experience. The customer service was not as I would have liked. The person shredding meat in the back was rolling her eyes and looking around in annoyance. The staff all looked like they completely hated their jobs. I don't make a big deal of many things. Could they have been nicer? Yes. Does it change my perception of chipotle? No. What DID change my perception of this particular location was the fact my husband had 4 UNCOOKED pieces of chicken that was room temperature and salsa that were also room temperature. Not hot, not cold-- room temperature on his tacos. He spat out the uncooked/room temp pieces as he came across them, just thinking they were the unsavory parts of the chicken. (He probably wouldn't have continued eating if he wasn't partially distracted with work phone calls. But one should be able to buy food that doesn't break health code violations). Before we left I looked at his plate and realized they were basically raw. Fast forward to an hour later... My husband is sick. I'll save you the gory details. We ate everything exactly the same up until that point so we know it was the uncooked chicken and/or salsa that made him ill. We will never eat at this location again.
