  • We held our destination ceremony and reception at Lakeside on 10/13/12. We used the Grand Garden and Atrium. We had 65 guests and we are extremely satisfied with the venue and wedding planner, Danielle. Our day was perfect! Some Highlights: -Danielle's execution was perfect from floral arrangements to DJ Music, very important when we were coordinating remotely from Chicago. She was available to us the entire evening and catered to our needs. -We chose the top shelf Bar package and all guests were pleased with product and service. No one was waiting around for drinks, everyboy was served promptly -The room was nicely arranged, Danielle helped coordinate all vendors including photobooth and Chocolate fountain. Danielle's recommendations saved us money on vendors -Fernando, the photographer, was excellent! we just received our digital version of the photos today, two weeks after the event. -They have a restaurant onsite which guarantees the food to be freshly prepared -The outdoor ceremony area has a lot of greenery, decorative statues, black swans and ducks roam on the lake which create a very Zen environment. This nice environment made our ceremony more meaningful. -DJ played all the music we requested, was very organized and made the flow of events go smoothly. She was very energetic and great attitude Some things to think about: -Transportation for guests, the venue is a good 25 minutes away from the strip. We hired a shuttle service -Visiting the venue and doing a taste test prior to booking the room. This way you can choose the best room and food for your needs -I had hair and make -up done at my hotel on the strip for convenience. I did not use their service Thank you Lakeside for a great experience!
