  • It was a great hike, but I was definitely not prepared for the slight incline jumping to butt-kicking steep switchbacks! The view though, is worth it, and you feel like a bad ass after the hike. It's not usually really crowded but it is a popular trail. Parking lot is big, could find spaces even on a Saturday morning. Bring 2+ bottles of water and some good snacks, you get pretty exhausted and the shade isn't great along the trail. Have fun!
