  • Uh oh! I have to be honest. I wrote off SCBC a few years ago after one beverage - it just didn't seem to WOW! me. Fast forward several years later - the Pale Ale was on special at a Tavern with Hickory in it's name, and I gave it a shot .. and .. drum roll: I liked it! Low and behold I was visiting a nearby establishment with an inoperative spoke and after one drink decided to go somewhere else. How convenient, Sugar Creek Brewing! They did a great job with the interior decor and a hug clean bathroom to boot! Plenty of seating inside and out even on a busy day. Grabbed another Pale Ale and enjoyed it on the deck during a beautiful Charlotte Sunday afternoon. They have several food options and what I saw leave the kitchen looked delicious. Ya won me back, Sugar Creek. Job well done!
