  • I took my Kia Sportage to Pep Boys only because I was desperate. It was a Friday afternoon, 90+ degrees, and my A/C quit working. The following Monday was a holiday, so I went only because no one else could see me until Tuesday.. When the problem was not obvious and there was a chance the system would need replaced, they asked if I would be patient while the head mechanic took a look. He discovered an issue he had recently seen on a car like mine. His request to take the time for a second look saved me hundreds of dollars. So to my surprise and pleasure, I am compelled to share a five star review. The were friendly, informative, obviously helpful and exceedingly conscientious. Super impressed!
