I've been going to this women's only club for quite a few years because of it's convenient (for me) location.
Group fitness during the day or early afternoon are sparse here compared to most of the other locations I've been to but that suits me fine because I love using the big open studio to do mat work.
I like the big screen TVs with the closed captioning. I just wish they'd have one on the sports channel once in a while. They always seem to be on cooking shows or talk shows.
I like the way the Fit Fix area is set up here. It's out of the heavy traffic area and easy to get a quick circuit workout done when you're in a time crunch.
Overall, the gym's usually not too busy so there's never a problem with getting a cardio machine like in some other locations.
The change room is nice and big here but I find the carpeted floor a bit of a turn off.
The other con about this place is the limited free weight section which is often overtaken with personal trainers and their clients. I don't have a problem sharing space and equipment. But when the client is using a bench, don't use the only other available bench to rest your clip board, water bottle and cell phone on. I shouldn't have to ask.
Ok. 'Nuf said for now about gym etiquette.
As for the staff at this location, they are always very friendly and often ask you what you plan to work on today which I think is a very nice touch.
My biggest reason for coming here is that I can pick up a few groceries after my workout at a time when I'm most motivated to buy healthy foods.
