  • I have a love/hate relationship with Food City, but I have been coming here on a regular basis to buy frozen menudo now that I rather cook it myself than pay for overpriced and inconsistent menudo at restaurants. Usually the price is $1.99 per pound for the frozen one cut in cubes, and $3.99 for the honeycomb type. Both are good but I personally prefer the cubed one, not sure what is the name. The only issue is that some times they sell me a bunch of cubes of ice... It is still good but does not make me feel good as a customer, lol. Oh well. I will have to keep putting up with this until I find a better option. Staff is usually nice and friendly, bot at the meat department and at the registers.
