| - Feeling really lucky to stay here! It's convenient, beautiful, boasts great views, lit-up, and centrally located!
Pros: It's right on the water, is within arms reach of CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, Steam Whistle Brewing, Harbourfront Centre, and downtown. And since it's close to these attractions, the view is beautiful at night because of all the city lights. The hotel itself is also lit-up and looks spectacular. The lobby, concierge counter, check-in counter, and restaurant all look grand and lovely. The concierge, check-in hosts, cleaning staff, delivery guys, and room service attendees are all very welcoming, helpful, and friendly.
Cons: As grand and spectacular as the hotel looks, it is actually quite old. In the room, the sink is cracked and stained (brown and spotted) and the metal towel rack is really rusted (to the point that I feel like my towel is unclean or unsafe). There is also terrible lighting in the hall by the door and closet and a lack of lighting in the shower. Since the iron and iron board is in the closet by the door, the low light makes it difficult to iron. And the shower has black tile walls + no light ahead so it's easy to feel as if the shower could be cleaner. (Ironic bc I am showering to get clean)
Last tip: do NOT order the sliders from room service. The patty was so dry and inedible. Bye bye $12...
