| - I've been craving AYCE sushi for a while now and decided to try this place out after work because it was open late night and had high reviews on Yelp.
I'm surprised that this sushi restaurant has such high reviews because compared to other AYCE sushi restaurants like Sakana and Yama Sushi, this is by far the worst AYCE sushi restaurant I've been to in the Las Vegas area.
First off, the server was extremely rude and rushed us to order right after we sat down and my boyfriend and I didn't even have time to look at the menu. After ordering once, we had to wave for a server to take our orders even though there were only four other parties in the restaurant at the time.
As for the sushi, the sushi rice was soggy and too wet. It wasn't even the sauce that made it soggy, the rice was probably just cooked with too much water. The salmon nigiri tasted chewy and did not taste fresh at as if it's been frozen for a long time.
We could tell that the restaurant was very unorganized because we kept receiving appetizers after we received our sushi rolls, which was really weird.
The only great thing about this restaurant is the amount of items in the menu, there's a lot to choose from ranging from appetizers, soups, salads, poke, and sushi rolls, however everything that my boyfriend and I ordered did not taste as good as we were expecting. I believe it was the bad sushi rice that ruined the sushi rolls for us.
