| - I live in Vegas and don't work in nightlife, but I do go out a lot and Light is easily my favorite club.
First of all, the Cirque de Soleil partnership really brings an extra OOMPH to the club experience. From the greeters to the dancers inside, it's way better than just seeing gogo dancers hip swaying on a pole elsewhere.
The layout. There's no real "bad spot" to be in the club because it's such a simple layout. The stage is centered to every point in the club. The wall. The giant wall with lights for days (hence the name). Even if you're stuck in the corner table on the top tier you still get a full on visual assault (in the best way).
The promoters, hosts, etc. There's no BS here. They're all very upfront, polite, cater to their respectful clients, no surprise "btw I lied sorry the guy can't get in for free because you're one second late" shenanigans. If you're not a rude, self-entitled bottle rat or dbag, they take very good care of you.
I love reading the very few negative reviews on here where girls are complaining about not being able to successfully steal booze at some guys' table or how much to tip on a COMPED bottle. Have some class and be grateful. Or you did something stupid (like vomit everywhere) to get kicked out, or you got something jacked. Ladies and gents, that shit happens anywhere. I've had to take a puking friend home as early as 11pm, I've had my entire purse jacked at a club before, but I don't blame the club for those things. Take some responsibility. Be polite, thank your promoter or host, hold your liquor, and don't be a dick. That goes for all clubs, not just Light.
