It's a blessing and a curse to be engaged to a woman who hates wedding planning. The blessing, of course, is that you're spared the Type-A antics of a Bridezilla; the curse is that you both feel vaguely panicky about the huge cloud of tasks hanging over your heads that refuse to arrange themselves systematically into a clear vision for the big day.
This is how my wife and I felt in February. Then we met with Jeremy, our DJ provided by Ray the DJ. That was the first time we felt truly at peace about our wedding. He walked us through a couple sample agendas for the evening, gave us song lists, and suggested a few great ideas we never would've thought of.
I've seen weddings with good DJs and weddings with bad DJs, and I'm confident that our DJ was one of the most important factors in making our reception a success. Jeremy kept things moving, played a great mix of music, and made sure our guests had fun all evening. I'm really glad we invested in his services!
