I have been a Vegas/Henderson resident since 2000. I'm from the east coast. When I first moved to Vegas the Pizza was not very good, now I can honestly say that we have great pizza in southern Nevada :). I was excited when I learned that Pizza rock was coming to GVR. I love the downtown las vegas location, The pizza is always a fresh, hot slice of cheesy goodness. My personal favorite is the purple potato pizza. I waited months for the GVR location to open in the food court. I stopped by last week and ordered a slice of the Grandma Pizza, a square shaped slice with a thin layer of cheese. A top the thin layer was three strips of a tomato paste like sauce with herbs sprinkled on the top. There were also very cute tear drop shaped small tomatoes on the top. The slice was fresh but not hot. The sauce was a little bland and the layer of cheese on the slice was very thin. They don't have the flavor options that the downtown location has and I don't think they are getting the turn over. The pizza looked a little dry in the display case, I will return to the downtown location, I will not return to the food court location. I might try the restaurant inside the Casino-not sure yet
