| - We stay here in the summer because of the pools. There is an adult only pool, no children allowed, (no, not the clothing optional pool, just an adult only pool) 3 other pools for everyone and the Lazy River pool. There are plenty of palm trees to be lazy in the shade under by the Lazy River. The cocktail service is very impressive. The gals in the casino should take lessons from these gals out in the hot sun, but then again, you pay for the drinks at the pool, not while gambling.
We haven been to concerts in the Grand Arena here. They know how to keep the traffic flowing in and out of the arena.
Rooms have been redone recently and are very nice. There are numerous types of suites for an upgraded price, or use your casino host to get an upgrade for a more spacious room. It also helps to be nice to the desk staff. We happened to score a suite in the east wing this summer. It's accessed by an obscure door off the casino thru which you gain access with your room key so there is no masses of people fighting for elevators and roaming the halls. We rarely saw anyone in the hall or elevator being in this wing.
Another plus, the monorail station is right here, not much walking to board it.
Use the monorail, they cab lines are always out of control and they only load 1 cab at a time.
