The first time I came to Tyber Creek Pub was for a Cornhole tournament. Yes...classy...I know.
My friends Guinness and Jameson ensured the day was successful and that our tournament was not.
What I've liked about Tyber Creek on my several visits is that it has the dark, heavy feel that an Irish pub should have. This is also why you see so many good looking Irish girls with busted looking guys. Major kudos to the men of Ireland!
The beer and whiskey selection satisfy my tastes...and the food isn't too bad either. There are three completely different vibes to Tyber: the daytime...grabbin' food and tippin' one or two...the nightime..."this is how we do it"...and the weekend..."all caution to the wind" All three of which are fun and inviting given the mood you're in.
Tyber Creek is a fun time with great service, great drinks and fun people. If you haven't made it Southward...maybe you should.
Try: an Irish Car Bomb
Avoid: domestic beer
