My lovely wife and I are always questing for great pizza. We were at the Aria recently and stepped in to investigate. Their Pepperoni pizza slice was the best we have had so far. Secret pizza still has the best while slice though. The "secret" to secret pizza"s white slice is that the ricotta is seasoned. This makes all the difference. No other white slice we have encountered has done this and it makes.all.the difference.
The other offerings were just ok. The white after heated was.just a mess and did and was.very bland. The meat lowest was just ok. The issue was that all.the meats did.not have individual rates and just tasted a bit bland.
Reheating the slices usually makes a big difference to the taste an texture. For the pepperoni I felt it.did not improve the slice so I always got is not warmed.up up. I simple.love their pepperoni.
Ceasar salad was good. Each leaf is dressed with the dressing. Very fresh. Nice flavor. Real Ceasar dressing with anchovies which we could taste in the background.
The dough is excellent. Fermented for 2 days in the fridge. The sauce I was told was slightly sweet whixh is not exactly nyc traditional but boy it is tasty against the their dough..and cheese. They also Marinate their tomatoes in wine I.was told.
Service was 5/5 for take away. Food was 4/5.
