Stumbled into this lovely piece of paradise purely by chance and with the great placement of signs on the road (very good investment!). It is usually closed on Mondays, but luckily it was open for the long weekend and offering everything I could hope for. There was a great selection of ciders, freshly baked bread from the wood fired oven and delicious share plates from the kitchen.
I had a selection of the ciders, and my top two would be the Dog Days of Cider and the Pear (which wasn't on our drink menu but you should definitely ask for it). For food, you can't go wrong with the Ploughman's Lunch. It has the whole range of flavors from savoury to sweet and you spend the whole meal mixing and matching for your favourite perfect bite. It comes with house made ketchup and a delicious aged cheddar which I'm still thinking about. Will definitely be back to try all their other menu items on their 'regular' times.
