Came by today around 11:45am and it was fairly empty. Place started to fill up around 12:15pm to 12:45pm.
$21.95 for lunch and $26.95 for dinner AYCE
The fish quality here is pretty good. I would say that it is on par with some of the best AYCE sushi spots back in SoCal, if not better. The ratio between fish & rice was perfect. It was not too much fish or not too much rice. The rolls were a bit disappointing though. The presentation was not quite as good as I expected and the taste was whatever. I would recommend ordering from the starters (miso soup, seaweed salad, etc), nigiri, or hand rolls.
The service was pretty good. I read some reviews before heading here and was expecting the worst service known to man, but it was the exact opposite. There was a bus boy continuously running around clearing our table and filling our waters. We had 2 separate waiters constantly checking on us and putting in our orders. Our orders were coming out only a few minutes after we placed them (consistently).
My girlfriend pointed out a sign that mentioned that they were out of "Uni until further notice due to bad season"
