  • It's all about word of mouth. This unassuming shop is take-out only, and located in a strip mall. Very easy to miss, but I got tipped off by a colleague. So happy I decided to drop in. They specialize in Filipino empanadas and hopias. The empanadas are delicious, slightly sweet, flaky crust and tasty stuffing (chicken or pork). The ube hopia was my favourite, however they also have mung bean. They're sold by the dozen, so it seems a bit pricey, but it's actually a great deal, and you'll be happy that you got a dozen of these tasty snacks!
