Thanks to Pep Boys, I had to buy a brand new tire on a car that's only 4 months old.
About a week ago, my tire went flat because I ran over a nail on the way to work. I took it to Pep Boys because it was later in the day and Discount Tire was closed. Pep Boys told me they could repair it, plugged my tire, and I thought I was good to go. Not even a full 24 hours later, my tire pressure light came on so I took it to Discount Tire to check it out. They told me Pep Boys had used the wrong plug (the one they used is meant for a tractor tire, and I'm clearly not driving a tractor around metro Phoenix) and it had damaged the tire so bad, the tire needs to be replaced.
Thank you, Pep Boys, for hiring incompetent people who don't have the basic knowledge on how to plug a tire. I will never be using you again.
