  • Avoid this place at ALL costs! Walk the long way through the casino if you must, but do not let them fool you into walking in that store. I had a super-duper weird experience tonight with this store while staying at Paris Hotel. These sales people are relentless and if they ever get you in the door, they will pressure you to buy their products like you wouldn't believe. All week long during my stay I would kindly walk past and decline their samples, but I had a moment of weakness when the salesman reeled me in simply by asking what type of under eye makeup I used. It was all down hill from there. I was ushered in and sat in a chair while HE REMOVED MY MAKE UP (which required me to go to my room and reapply later-SUPER ANNOYING) and told me that I had very puffy eyes! He was preying on my insecurities and it was working. That is when he introduced this special cream that could "cure" my puffy eye problem. Side note, I'm In Vegas and have been drinking alcohol and staying up late every night-of course I have dark circles and puffy eyes; I'm completely exhausted and dehydrated. Anyway, back to my experience - It did seem to work well at first, it made the skin feel tight, but eventually I couldn't even tell a difference between my two eyes. After 40 minutes of being told how bad I need these products, I was feeling pretty awful about how bad my skin and eyes looked. Luckily, I came to my senses and started to realized I didn't need to buy these expensive products on a whim. I said several times I really needed to discus this big purchase with my husband first and I was matched with comments like: "you work too" and "we can mail it to your house, your husband will never even have to know"! He even started to make me feel stupid for questioning the cost, "is it the cost that is making you hesitant?", "Is it just too expensive for you"? Who says that?? Duh, it is! I'm middle-working class, I don't have $600 to compulsively spend on eye creams. However, I was still literally so close to paying $600 for "magical eye cream" because the salesman was SO convincing and I was feeling pretty low about my face; I had already given them my card and everything... That's how close I was to wasting my money. He kept trying to sell me more products. After all the creams and products tested on my skin, I realized I could really put $600 to better use than just my face. The salesman was nice enough, but you could tell he was really annoyed he wasn't making a sale. I told him again that I needed to talk to my husband first, and without hesitation he said "call him". I told him that my phone was dead and he offered for me to use his phone! Seriously?? That's when I was starting to feel uneasy, really pressured, and down right uncomfortable about it all and decided to pull the plug on buying anything. Before I finally left, they somehow got the price down to $400 from $2400. I WISH I was exaggerating. They made me promise not to tell anyone about the discount I was offered, but I'm sorry, this is a major SCAM and people need to be aware of what they're doing. I did not buy anything and after reading other reviews on yelp I am SO relieved that I followed my instincts and didn't make an impulse purchase on what seems to be very "fancy", expensive, crap. This ordeal happened on my last night here and it put such a bad taste in my mouth it makes me want to never stay at this hotel again. Please don't let these people prey on your insecurities. These magic creams won't give you confidence. Wasting your money on those products will leave you remorseful you over spent and your face will remain looking the same.
