  • My husband and son begin seeing the dentist at this office and at first, my husband was very happy with the dentist and the hygenist he saw, so upon my taking my 13 year old son there I allowed him to go in for his first initial visit and I waited in the waiting room expecting them to call me in after they did xrays etc., because that has been my experience in the past. Then I expected the dentist would talk to me. Son came out he was finished the tech handed the girl at the desk his chart, she began telling me the things he needed I said, am I not going to see the dentist and speak with him as he is a new patient? She said no the dentist was very busy but if I wanted to sit and wait they would try to get him to talk to me when he finished with another patient I chose not to I needed to leave. I did return a few times and on one occasion I stayed in the room with my son at the visit and did get to meet a dentist which has now left the practice and explained to her that I was a little surprised they wanted to work on my son without seeing me first. She apologized I accepted and thought things would go smooth from there. They did not, we had several more problems not just with miscommunication between the dentist who would relay it to the hygienist who would relay it to the desk clerk who would then would relay it to me, but also with billing , billing that they would tell me I needed to do certain things when I would tell them they had not filed correctly and they would tell me I was wrong and then it would end up they had not filed correctly but no apologies were given. Final straw for me was my son went in for a checkup and after a long wait, it's a busy practice, he comes out I expect that they're going to tell me he had a cleaning and perhaps there was a surface cavity and very casually they just said he needs his wisdom teeth removed we have a guy who comes in on Saturday will make an appointment, he can do it on Saturday morning. I never knewhe hadany problemwith wisdom teeth.The clerk was telling me about the oral surgery not the dentist. My husband almost died with root canal, rare but had they ever talked and taken a history, they would have known. this is serious surgery its not to be lightly taken I said is anyone going to talk to me about this? She said I'm talking to you about it. The desk clerk. I don't even know who your oral surgeon is! I just left. I'm never going back not letting anyone operate and take out my sons wisdom teeth without even discussing with me or meeting me ahead of time they take a lot for granted and they don't give back much feedback nor do they give courtesy. Not what I am use to getting from a private practice.
