  • It's very difficult not to like Wanda's. Their sign seems to have a Dr. Seuss font going, already flickering a hint of finding something not normally seen in most places. And that something is the smell and sight of wonderful pies hitting you. Everything I've had, has hit the spot! Apple, apricot, berry you name it! They serve it nice and warm and they are all delicious. Now be warned that they are not very sweet, in fact the berry based ones do have that tangy berry flavour whereas the apple crumble is all good sweetness. Their coffee drinks are also worth getting and if you're feeling particularly ravenous I say go get the 6inch personal pie....it's great for a big snack or keeping at your place for small snacks whenever you feel like it. I would like the staff to be a little bit more friendly and enthusiastic about the fact that they work in a pie shop, but I've not had a bad experience there though, They also have some very good looking baked goods up for sale, but I always fill my hunger quota with pie that I probably could not get the baked goods in good consciousness along with the pie. But the time I walk in here for a coffee I am sure to try out a cookie or something (Especially after seeing what Devan R says about their gingerbread cookies).
