| - For health reasons, I could not sample the product. However, others in my party did, The general consensus was "so-so". My impressions - the process of making the treat, while interesting and entertaining for a bit, is super-labor intensive. It is also pricey. Guess they gotta pay for that labor. The name is weird. When I see "Fried Ice", I'm expecting to be wowed with some physics trickery, but no, there is no actual frying going on here.
Dining room was open. very open. As in a couple of booths along the wall and a sofa or two. They could use a few tables. There is a portal to the sushi dimension next door, called "Sushi Station" On a Saturday evening, the noise was tremendous, especially with the cavernous dining room. I'm sure the fish people were not impressed with all the banging and clattering that goes on while they beat this ice cream treat into submission.
Presentation was lackluster. I mean, how many wedges CAN you get out of a blueberry? Crap, just put the berries on and don't worry about the micro-sizing. They did seem popular, not sure if that is the new factor, or just so you can brag to your friends.
I have no idea what "Bubble tea" is, but then I've never heard of fried ice either. I say give 'em a try. make up your own mind.
