I'll start with the only two good things about this place. The location is great for me and whoever has been working the register when I come in has always been very pleasant.
That's it. The facility itself isn't great, even for a car wash. Dirty bathrooms and empty space and shelves everywhere. The guys who write up your ticket always pressure you for the up sell and then make some passive aggressive joke when you say no. The equipment they use to wash the cars is old (which translates to wear on your interior and paint). Now I know the people doing the finishing work on your car are typically underpaid and doing tough work in the heat but even taking that into account, they don't do a good job compared to other places in the area. They are typically pretty dismissive if you ask them to redo a spot here or there and generally don't seem to care at all. I tip well usually and it takes a lot for me to be cheap, especially with people doing tough work, but somehow they find a way. I think part of this is that they are understaffed in that department. This is one of the slowest car washes that I have been to.
Advice to management, invest in your business. Tell the guys writing the tickets to chill out with the up sell and keep more people on staff so people can make sure they do good work and so we all won't be waiting 30-40 minutes to get out of there.
