| - THEY TRIED TO RIP US OFF! And eventually did. We bought a number of paintings, couldn't transport one of the oversized ones at the time of purchase. We were encouraged to leave behind the painting and pick it after we returned from out of town. We returned to the store (weeks passed) to pick up the painting, only to find a poor facsimile of the picture we purchased. They insisted it was the same picture "I can assure you this is the exact painting you purchased, I stored it myself" bla bla bla the lies continued for 10 minutes until my wife showed them the picture she snapped with her phone of the picture we bought. Jaws dropped, faces turned red, eyes cast to the floor. BUSTED.
Game changer! "Yes you are right, this is not the painting, we sold the one you bought to someone else. Then the lies started again, my boss the owner sold it by accident. When my wife originally bought the painting they tagged it SOLD! As plain as day!
They offered to have the painting repainted to represent the painting we bought. We said ok, provided we get what we paid for. Well, that was a joke!
Our experience with Eric and the owner was like being in the movie Liar Liar. We couldn't believe these so called adults would stoop so low for a few bucks. The shell game and lies after lies after lies were pathetic. Selling the painting we bought to someone else was no mistake, it was intentional, they knew what they were doing.
