| - My rating is solely for the lunch buffet, which we tried for the first time - It's $10.95 per person, but the selection didn't really impress me. (Maybe I'm just used to Asian buffets or AYCE sushi joints where there is an abundance of items and made-to-order quality, respectively. Or casino places, even.)
We arrived during the last hour, so perhaps that affected it, but the food looked slightly unappetizing to me sitting under the heat lamps.
They serve the naan fresh, though. We got a basket of the garlic variety, and it came out hot and soft - perfect! We were promptly served waters and the setting was clean, and aptly decorated. I asked about the yelp check-in for the free mango lassi, but I guess it's only valid during dinner. (My mistake though, it's stated clearly on the offer.)
My favorite were the SAMOSAS! They're huge. Very filling and I could see the flaky layers. I also had some basmati rice and saag. My boyfriend tried the lemon rice and the chicken tikka masala, which he said was a little too spicy for him. I tried it and I think it was just the amount of spices and seasonings he didn't like.
For dessert, they had this rice pudding and a few fruits. Watermelon was great on a hot day like this, but again, not too much selection.
I'm sure dinner is a different story, but I probably won't come back to an Indian buffet again.
