I was disappointed that we each were not able to get a massage like we had made appointments for. There were 3 of us, I booked appointments on Friday for Sunday and the day of the 3rd appointment was cancelled on us 3 hours before the massage was scheduled. I feel that if you have a 24 hour cancellation policy for your patrons, you should probably follow this same rule for yourself. Staggering appointments for out of towners is not a good option when you are trying to knock three people out at once.
However, it all worked out in the end. They offered us free aroma therapy, which wasn't an amazing added bonus, but the thought was nice. The Jasmine smelled really good.
They have a nice waiting area with a TV that plays movies, while you fill out your patient history form. Then after you fill that out they take you back to the relaxation room. It was a nice waiting room, it was pretty calming and they had the aroma therapy working in there.
I had a deep tissue massage 60 min, which is actually a 50 min massage with 5 min set aside for undress before and redress after. Pretty standard amongst massage places. The girl that gave me massage was awesome and really sweet. I believe her name was Heather. She did a great job with working with me on what pressure is best and where exactly needed the most work. I would give her 5 stars if I could rate separately.
My friend who received a sweedish massage enjoyed her massage as well. My other friend got her hair done. I was in the room when she was going over what to do with her hair. I know it is easiest to have a client that knows exactly what they want, but I felt that the stylist could have done a better job at being a bit more creative with it. She had low lights put in to already dark hair and after he was done you could barely tell anything was done at all.
