To be honest I was not going to eat here. When I was going to enter the resto, a man was slamming the front window from the inside with a menu trying to kill a wayward fly.
Once I decided it was worthwhile to try it (it took me a long time to get there) I walked into a smaller space than I expected. The location had minimal seating and the chairs and tables seem to have experienced quite a bit of wear
I ordered the curry goat with rice and peas, as I have been craving it for a while. It was probably the best curry goat I have ever had (other than my mother's). Perhaps I was starving and feeling emboldened by my courage, but I loved every bite. The rice and peas were perfect, with just the right amount of scotch bonnet. However, the coleslaw was nothing to write home about; It was a bit too watery for my liking (I was not there for the coleslaw though!)
