My experience with Fidelity was as a seller through Opendoor. Their title company of choice nationally is Fidelity Title. Fidelity apparently does not know how to read POA's from states they are not as active in. Therefore, they said that the POA I had on my mother (which was done in SC) was not properly notarized. A superior court judge disagreed with them on that but since AZ does not have a statute requiring financial companies to accept a valid POA, they forced me to spend thousands of more dollars and obtain conservatorship over my mother. The judge went on record during the hearing to say that this was a completely unnecessary roadblock put into place by Fidelity due to their own incompetence at understanding the SC POA and that Opendoor should never have allowed it and been willing to change title companies (which they absolutely refused to do).
Based on all the above, it is easy to see why I rated them one star and will not recommend them. They are extremely incompetent.
