  • We were forced to abandon & file bankruptcy! Fees included $50=late fee, $5.10 fee per every day late with only a 15 LIMIT, after that is, it goes to attorney. Management misinformed us of water billing cycle and REFUSES to offer help with rent troubles! Managers never returned our phone calls and were completely cold hearted to the circumstances. We had to leave due to a medical problem, which reduced our income, but the Palisades Apartment did not and will not care about your personal problems! If you have kids or medical condition, please be warned and please don't fall into a lease trap! If you want to break your lease early, it's called a "Lease Buy Out", it will cost you 2 months of rent of which half is due at time of notice plus your current rent as well. If you don't tell them, they will charge your $25 for not notifying them along with some other major fees... PLEASE DON'T GET ENTRAPPED LIKE US!!!!!!! Just ask about their lease terms, FEES, break-lease options and charges...Also, they keep your deposit which they credit back to the buy-out lease. On a brighter note, the area is very nice and central to shopping, gas, food, dining, and parks. It's a shame! Best of luck!
